Stanford Robinson pledges to the Hoosiers

Stanford RobinsonTom Crean has certainly turned the tide in Hoosier land, as he has them ranked No. 1 in pre-season polls for the 2012-13 season.  That's not stopped him from making sure he builds on that success, as Indiana has five new signees in the incoming 2012 class, and tonight added commit No. 4 for the class of 2013 in Paul VI (VA) guard Stanford Robinson.  And thats not to mention Indiana has one of the few commitments in the 2014 class.

Robinson's sudden commitment has been attributed to the recent hiring of assistant Kenny Johnson, brought in from Towson.  Johnson was instrumental in recruiting Robinson to play basketball at Paul VI.

A 6'4 shooting guard, Robinson grades out an A on site, and comes in ranked as the No. 61 overall prospect as well as the No. 12 ranked shooting guard in our 2012 top 100

Robinson joins a class that includes forwards Devin Davis, Collin Hartman and Luke Fischer.  He chose the Hoosiers over Maryland, Texas and Villanova among others.
